The NFL 2017 - 2018 Season

Nfl 2017 kicks in at Sept 10th. The expectations are high as always. Which team will surprise the preseason nay sayers, which underestimated QB`s will impact their teams destiny, who will be the rookie of the year. The NFL powerhouse of the decade New England Patriots are expected to be back to super bowl 52 but so many analyists show their concerns regarding to the age of GOAT Tom Brady. Would he be as consistent at the age of 40? no matter how hard to come up with an argument agains the Patriots in AFC there`s an underdog called Oakland Raiders who has a potential MVP candidate Derrick Carr with a stellar ofensive line, looking for their chances to end Patriots reign in AFC. When it comes to the NFC divison things are getting much complicated. In this point no team in NFC has a balanced offensive
and defensive line. Every team lack of either defensive or offensive strength. Having said that Green Bay Packers chances are relatively higher when we take into consideration the Dallas Cowboys poor defensive line or Seattle`s mediocre offensive set up. In this current state of NFC Aaron Rogers would be a game changing factor even if he gets a little bit close to his 2011 performance. According to our preseason analysis Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, Tennesee Titans, Minnesota Vikings and Houston Texans are the teams who deserve to be followed closely. On the other hand we believe that some teams have potential to dissapoint their fans unless they miracleously perform against all odds. A tough season is waiting for New York Giants,New York Jets, Los Angeles Chargers, Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars fans.

The NFL 2016-2017 Season

With the regular season of the 2016-1017 NFL scheduled to kickoff on September 10, 2016, it is once again that time of the year for forecasts and predictions on who will most likely make it to the AFC and NFC playoffs, and who will win Super Bowl 51. Following is what experts think. AFC Division Predictions; The AFC West could be a toss-up between the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs, while a tight battle between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals looms in the AFC North. Although the Colts are favored to rule the AFC South, one or two teams are capable of pulling off a surprise. Despite the suspension of Tom Brady, the New England Patriots look like the team to beat in the AFC East. NFC Division Predictions; The Dallas Cowboys are tipped to lead the NFC East, while the North could be a fight between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers. The Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals dispute the NFC West crown, while the Carolina Panthers are expected to dominate the NFC South once more. The Wildcard Teams For the AFC, the probable wildcard teams are the Colts and the Bengals. On the other hand, the Giants and the Seahawks will most likely be the NFC wildcards. Predicted AFC and NFC Winners Which teams will come out on top of their respective conferences and play for Super Bowl 51? This early, experts think that one of these teams - the Chiefs, Patriots, or Steelers - could represent the AFC, while the NFC may be represented by the Packers, Panthers, Cardinals, or Seahawks. Predicted Super Bowl 51 Winner Will it be Cam Newton and the Panthers? Can Mark Sanchez do what Peyton Manning did last year for the Broncos? Will Tom Brady come back from suspension and lead the Patriots to the Super Bowl? Or will Aaron Rodgers be back? The answers to these questions may determine who the Super Bowl 51 winner may be.

Rivalries to Watch Out For in the 2016-17 NFL Season

Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals

Back in the 2015-16 season, the two teams met thrice with the Steelers winning two. Their December 14 matchup saw Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger getting hit on the legs by a supposed cheap shot by Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict who was also involved in a pregame scuffle and was responsible for Antonio Brown’s season-ending injury. Their third meeting happened during the NFL Wild Card Round which Pittsburgh won 18-16. The rain-soaked game was filled with tension, garbage-throwing, and hair-pulling. A scuffle started after Ryan Shazier, linebacker for the Steelers, knocked running back Giovani Bernard of the Bengals during the third quarter. Later on, Roethlisberger was hit by a wayward soda can while being carted out due to injury. Another incident involved Mike Munchak, offensive coach for Pittsburgh, and Reggie Nelson of the Bengals. Munchak grabbed Nelson’s hair as the two had a brief altercation. The hair-pulling antic drew a 15-yard penalty against the Steelers. With no love lost between these two teams, their rivalry is one thing to watch out for in the 2016-17 NFL season.

New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks

November 14 is a date to remember for fans who still can’t forget Malcolm Butler’s incredible interception of Russell Wilson’s pass to Ricardo Lockette. The Patriots cornerback, an undrafted rookie, sealed the Super Bowl win for New England with his perfect reading of the play.

Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders

The rivalry between the Chiefs and Raiders has been quiet for quite some time now as the two teams haven’t made much noise in the league. But that is primed to change as both teams have become relevant. In fact, they are expected to perform well in the AFC West this coming season. What makes the return of their rivalry even more possible is the decision of cornerback Sean Smith to switch from the Chiefs to the Raiders. Smith signed a four year contract worth $40 million last March to ditch his old team and fan the flames of their rivalry.
