Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers are hard at work as they get ready for the 2015 -16 NFL season opening on September 10, 2015. They are primed for the new season because they have a good set of talented players and no major injury plaguing them. Last season, the Green Bay Packers won the Divisional championship against the Dallas Cowboys but were defeated by the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship. This year, they vow to go all the way to the Super Bowl. Coach Mike McCarthy, who has been the Green Bay Packers’ coach since 2006, is currently working on trimming down his team for the final roster who will be playing in the new NFL Season. It has been proving to be a tough task for him and the coaching staff due to the immense talent that all the players have been exhibiting throughout the practices and preseason games. Rest assures Green Bay fans that he and the coaching staff will come up with a great set of players that will take them to the Super Bowl. McCarthy is no stranger to the Super Bowl having led the Green Bay Packers to victory in 2010. He is looking to duplicate that victory this year. The coaching staff of the Green Bay Packers has also been making major changes in the team’s defensive end. They have moved Clay Matthews to Outside Line Backer playing left OLB while Julius Peppers plays right OLB. BJ Raji is back from his injury and is ready and hungry for a win. Fans and sports analysts find these movements to be slightly different from last year as the Packers have mixed up their defense to fill in the shoes of Tramon Williams. Randall Cobb is expected to give a repeat of his excellent performance from the last season. He has one of the most red-zone touchdown passes caught last season with 10 passes. Richard Rodgers, the Packers’ tight end, is looking for more red-zone success and passes form quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. As last season’s rookie tight end, Richard Rodgers only caught a few touchdown passes, but this year, he plans to make more for the Green Bay Packers. He had been performing really well during the Training Camp and had been playing several great games during the practice and preseason games. He has replaced the Andrew Quarless as this year’s starting tight end. The reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers is another player that Green Bay Packers fans are more than excited to see in action. He will be leading the Packers offense and is looking for another MVP win for this season’s NFL. He is working with the team’s wide receivers at translating passes into touchdowns for the Green Bay Packers. Eddie Lacy will also be holding court as the Packers’ starting back with James Starks as the second string. Both players will need to step up their games in order for them to win the Super Bowl. With all these talent from both defense and offense, the Green Bay Packers have a good chance of winning.
